Our impact starts with relationships — but it should lead to meaningful change.
Across our youth provision, mentoring, targeted support and community work, we aim to help young people build stronger relationships, confidence, skills and opportunities while strengthening the communities and networks around them.
We are continuing to strengthen how we measure and demonstrate that journey over time. Alongside participation data, we increasingly want to understand progression, development and the difference young people experience through sustained involvement with MLCE

We are committed to understanding not only how many young people we reach, but the difference our work makes over time.
Our impact reporting brings together participation data, programme outcomes, learning and the experiences of young people and communities. As part of our 2026–29 strategy, we are strengthening our organisation-wide approach to measuring development, progression and longer-term impact.
